Saints in the Summer launches this Sunday, June 26. (Other dates are July 31, August 7, August 14, and August 21.) Our parish family will gather for Eucharist with a creative homily, prayers written just for this occasion, and special hymns, followed by a meal with fun activities to help us learn more about St. Peter’s. Bring the whole household – wiggly kids are especially welcome! To help with meal planning, please RSVP here. Contact clergy or formation staff with questions.

Here you’ll find reflections by our clergy and parishioners about difference and the Christian call to reconciliation – along racial and other lines. There are also curated resources to deepen our understanding of racism in our daily lives. The url is easy to remember: www.st-peters.org/godstapestry.

A big thanks to all who continue to support donating food to Loaves and Fishes using the red barrels in the Gallery of the Parish House. I serve as the Pantry Coordinator for the West Sugar Creek location and Linda Smith is the Pantry Coordinator for the Galilee Center location on Central Avenue. The clients love having a variety to select from such as cereal. We get corn flakes from the warehouse but I get excited when I see cereals donated and the same for tinned fruit. We get applesauce and pears but the clients get excited when they can choose peaches, pineapple or fruit cocktail. We are very grateful for all donations as they do add variety to the shelves. If anyone wishes to tour a pantry, contact me; I am there three days a week, Tuesdays, Thursday and Saturdays.
