St. Peter’s recently announced strategic planning process intentionally begins with listening, to the staff, clergy, vestry and entire congregation. We’ll start with eleven listening circles in the month of October, and we hope everyone in the parish will sign up for one as soon as possible.
In each circle, a group of up to 20 people will be led in a 90-minute conversation by our strategic planning consultant, Andi Stevenson. These sessions are relaxed and informal, and they’re designed to learn what’s important to you, such as:
- What aspects of St. Peter’s make you most proud?
- What is your dream for St. Peter’s 25 years from now?
- How do you want this parish to interact with the community and people around it?
- What should the parish focus on doing over the next few years?
Andi will take notes during the sessions, and she’ll analyze them for major themes, without quoting anyone specifically.
We hope people will sign up for one of the listening circles (see the list below) and that all 11 will be full by the time they begin on October 21 and conclude on October 31.
Sessions marked with an asterisk have childcare available. If you need childcare, in addition to signing up, email Anna Hurdle (firstname.lastname@example.org), so that she will know how many children to expect.
