One of the staples of life that makes it worth living is the notion of waiting — and anticipating that there must be something beyond the now, something worth waiting for!
During this time, we are far less able to engage actively with our community partners, but St. Peter’s is still living into our mission of love for our neighbors. This time offers us, as God’s people, another opportunity to provide for those who are counting on us the most.
These disciples found Christ in the midst of the ordinary act of a meal – may we also have “aha” moments of recognition and continue to see his presence in our everyday lives.
Outreach and Social Justice ministries are integral to life at St. Peter’s, but there is much work yet to be done. Please consider becoming more deeply engaged in these ministry areas as we continue to be a beacon of hope in Center City Charlotte.
