Changes to Parking Coming April 3

Changes to Parking Deck Validation Effective Sunday, April 3. Our parking validation scanners are being discontinued by the owners of the parking deck next week. You will still be able to validate your parking ticket for free parking while at St. Peter’s by using paper “chaser” tickets. Single-use chaser tickets will be in the same locations as the validators. Be sure to pick one up every time you visit St. Peter’s and park in the parking deck in order to leave without paying.

The chaser ticket is basically a form of payment. Depending on which exit you use (7th or 8th Street), insert or scan the original parking ticket, the system will display a fee, then insert or scan the chaser ticket. Both the original parking ticket and the chaser ticket are required to exit the garage. During the transition, we plan to station Sunday volunteers at both exits to assist parishioners as they leave the parking deck.

Church and Garden Tour, 12:30 p.m. Have you ever been curious about the history of and symbolism within our worship space? Join Mother Amanda and Mike Hoffman for a Church and Garden Tour this Sunday immediately following the 11:15 a.m. service. We will gather in the chapel to begin our walk together through the church and then out into our Memorial Garden.

Choral Evensong, Sunday, 5:00 p.m. The St. Peter’s Choir, directed this week by Assistant Choirmaster Rob Burlington, sings Choral Evensong. Director of Music and Organist, Elizabeth Lenti, is playing for the service. Preces and Responses are by John Sanders and canticles by John Ireland. The anthem, “Hear my prayer, O Lord,” based on Psalm 102, is by English composer Henry Purcell. This contemplative service is a beautiful way to begin a new week.
