On Sunday, November 21, 2010–fittingly Christ the King Sunday–the congregation dedicated C. B. Fisk Opus 136, The Van Ness Hamrick Organ.
A grand and glorious occasion, bookended by recitals performed by Indiana University’s Janette Fishell, the Sunday liturgy included St. Peter’s Choir singing portions of Jean Langlais’ Messe Solonnelle, C. V. Stanford’s setting of Psalm 150, Benjamin Britten’s Te Deum in C, and Pierre Villette’s setting of the text Panis angelicus. St. Peter’s was honored to host The Reverend Martin Smith as the guest preacher.
