Welcome, from the Reverend Jacob E. Pierce, Rector.

Welcome to St. Peter’s Episcopal Church.

We are an inclusive, diverse, and encouraging community of faith, with a vision to be a place of unconditional welcome and a beacon of God’s love in the heart of Charlotte. We are so glad you have joined us for worship today.

All baptised Christians are invited to receive the Holy Eucharist. You may also come to the altar during Holy Eucharist to receive a blessing.

If you are new to The Episcopal Church, we invite you to visit us several times to learn more about the richness and interactive nature of our tradition. More, we invite you to explore the many ways we engage our faith through worship and music, learning, community life, outreach and social justice, and stewardship, always seeking to serve others.

Our regular worship services are held Sunday mornings at 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. We also offer livestream and daily on-line services. Our doors are open for prayer and meditation throughout the week from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

You can learn much more about our services, the programs and initiatives we offer, and the life of our faith community on our website: st-peters.org.

Connect. Let us get in touch with you.

We’d love to know more about you and have a chance to welcome you by phone or email. Please use this form to let us know how best to reach you.

Make a Prayer Request.

Prayer Requests are received from our church members, as well as from those who ask for prayer from all over the world. Requests may be made in several ways: by calling the church office (704-332-7746), email, or the form linked below. Here are some important things to know:

We print the first names of those for whom prayers are asked in the bulletins and on the website. Normally, we do this for one week.

We can continue to list and pray for your concern for up to six weeks, but only if you request it.
To assist us in maintaining confidentiality, know that we will use only first names, except for those who have died.

Please give locations for someone who is hospitalized so that, if you desire, we make make a visit.

For all questions and concerns about the prayer list, contact the Reverend Jacob E. Pierce, Rector. The clergy are also available, by appointment, for pastoral counseling or referral to appropriate licensed counselors.

Give.

Your financial support helps the ministries and programs of our faith community thrive, and provides for the practical needs of our parish. There are many ways to give:

A one-time gift can be made by cash or check through the offering plate, or online by credit card: https://st-peters.org/donate.

To give by text, send a message to 73256 and include the keywords “saintpeters” and “offering” in the message area.

Pledging allows you to make a donation over time. Knowing the amount you estimate you will give over the course of a year helps our clergy, staff, and lay leadership with planning and in the creation of our annual budget. You can also make a pledge online: https://st-peters.org/pledge.

Please let us know if you would like to be contacted with more information about ways to give.
