First Sunday Brunch – Young Adults, without or with children, gather on the first Sunday of each month after the 11:00 a.m. service at a local restaurant to enjoy brunch and fellowship. Contact Mary Gotschall (firstname.lastname@example.org) or check the eNews for each month’s location. For other events, watch the eNews, website, Parish House bulletin boards, and worship leaflet notices.
All young adults are encouraged to participate in the parishwide Sunday 9:30 a.m. and any weekday formation (education) offerings, as scheduled. Occasionally, small group or several-week classes are offered for young adults only, facilitated by lay leaders and clergy. Watch the eNews, website, Parish House bulletin boards, and worship leaflet notices for seasonal offerings. In Fall 2016, young adult Josiah Daniels lead a four-week study on “spirituality and money.” The following essays were discussed: Abundance and Scarcity; Ultimate Question; Spending money as if Life Mattered; and The Eight Hundred Pound Gorilla.
